Français Sur Mer is a French language and cultural integration program created for long-term residents of Provence–Alpes–Côte d’Azur.

 

The program is led by Stephanie Fullen-Safian, who brings over 20 years of experience teaching French at all levels, along with a lifetime of immersion in French language and culture. Français Sur Mer emphasizes a strong foundation in language structures while fostering practical communication skills, cultural understanding, and confidence in everyday life.

What sets our program apart is guided, real-world practice. Lessons extend beyond the classroom into town, where students confidently practice French with participating local merchants offering patience, support, and encouragement.

Three ateliers are offered in Sanary-sur-Mer: the small-group Immersion Atelier, the private Premium Atelier, and the Summer Immersion Atelier. Each combines structured instruction with guided local immersion, helping students communicate more naturally, navigate daily interactions with ease, and feel increasingly at home in the rhythm of Provençal life.
